Physical activities are an essential component in human life, present in most daily actions. Physical exercise, whether as a workout or as a practice to maintain health, is critical to preventing noncommunicable diseases and reducing the risk of other conditions. This study developed a physical activities and health program aimed at first-year high school students in an educational unit in Ecuador in 2024, through an applied quantitative approach, combining field and laboratory research methods according to their place of application. The implementation of this program seeks to benefit adolescents with a sedentary lifestyle, promoting the practice of regular physical activity and reducing the risk of diseases associated with inactivity. The results of the research confirmed that the practice of exercise contributes significantly to the maintenance of better physical, psychological and organic health, highlighting the importance of promoting healthy habits from the school stage.
