This study analyzed the use of puppets as a didactic resource for the teaching of values in early childhood education in Peru, with a focus on family law. The objective was to determine the effectiveness of puppets in transmitting fundamental values for family coexistence, such as respect, empathy and communication. The research follows a quantitative approach and is based on a sample of 80 children aged 4 to 6 years and 40 teachers, for a total of 120 subjects selected through non-probability sampling, with a margin of error of 8% and a confidence level of 95%. Questionnaires and descriptive statistical analysis were used for data collection and processing. The results show that puppets favor the understanding of family values, with 80% of the children recognizing the value of respect and 75% identifying empathy. In addition, a high level of child participation (65%) and a positive perception by teachers about the effectiveness of the resource (85%) were observed. It is concluded that puppets constitute an effective pedagogical tool for the formation of values from early childhood, with the potential to strengthen inclusive education and the construction of a culture of harmonious coexistence.
