This article analyzes the integration of students from the Peruvian Amazonian Awajún community into the Schiller Goethe Institute. To this end, a qualitative approach and an interpretive method were adopted, using the students' experiences as key informants. The results reveal the integration process experienced by these students, highlighting the obstacles they faced and the strategies they employed to overcome them. It also delves into the emotional challenges arising from the instructions required to address the challenges of continuing their university education and fulfilling their academic commitments. It is important to highlight that this research represents a significant contribution to future studies aimed at strengthening the shared commitment to university policies aimed at Indigenous communities. Its purpose is to ensure effective educational inclusion that promotes meaningful and equitable teaching for all students.
