ATAHUA QUISPE, Maribel et al. Study habits as a key factor in achieving meaningful learning in private higher education. Revista InveCom [online]. 2026, vol.6, n.1, e601045. Epub 15-Jul-2025. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15362214.
University students face various academic and professional challenges, and their success or failure largely depends on their study habits. In this context, the objective of this article was to analyze the relationship between study habits and meaningful learning among students majoring in Neonatal Care Nursing at a university in Lima. To this end, a quantitative approach was used, with a non-experimental, correlational design. The sample consisted of 80 nursing students specializing in neonatal care. The results revealed a significant hypothesis test (p = 0.020); consequently, a significant correlation between study habits and meaningful learning is demonstrated in this group of students. In conclusion, strengthening study habits can significantly contribute to achieving meaningful learning in the training of neonatal care nurses.
