PALACIO RAMIREZ, Mayra Gianina; GONZALES PEREZ, Aurora del Carmen  e  DIAZ ROJAS, Nelber. Quality of nursing care, promoting its implementation in hospitals: systematic review 2019-2025. Revista InveCom [online]. 2026, vol.6, n.3, e603062.  Epub 15-Dez-2025. ISSN 2739-0063.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17386840.

The present study aims to identify the quality of nursing care in public hospitals, promoting its application and strengthening during the period 2019-2025. The research was conducted using a mixed approach, employing a systematic review methodology, in which 668 scientific articles from databases such as Scopus, PubMed, and SciELO were consulted, applying previously established inclusion and exclusion criteria. Sixty-eight relevant studies published between 2019 and 2025 were identified, which allowed us to recognize the main dimensions evaluated in the quality of nursing care: reliability, responsiveness, and empathy. The results show that the articles reviewed tend to focus on patient satisfaction with processes, service quality, empathy, and a series of basic principles that nursing staff must possess, highlighting the importance of training, standardized protocols, and human resources in strengthening care. In conclusion, the evidence collected highlights that the quality of nursing care in public hospitals, both domestic and foreign, requires a solid foundation in terms of equipment, supplies, and tools for patient examinations or evaluations. Despite this, most studies agree on similar issues. This work provides relevant input for professional practice, hospital management, and future research in the area.
