Traffic accidents have an enormous economic impact on society; in Cuba they are among the leading causes of death. Accordingly, the objective of the research is to develop a cost sheet for traffic accidents that will contribute to road safety management in Sancti Spíritus. The study is quantitative in scope, with a descriptive non-experimental design. The results show that the cost sheet developed becomes a methodological instrument for the improvement of road safety management, by providing a system of important statistical data for decision making, in order to reduce traffic accidents and their consequences, expressed in the criteria assumed by a group of experts with a high level of competence who were selected to validate the proposal.
