The aim of the research was to develop a management procedure for the supply of materials to houses in the recovery phase in the Provincial Housing Directorate of Sancti Spíritus, Cuba, which contributes to the efficiency of the management of the logistics system. The study is based on a quantitative approach with a non-experimental correlational design. It starts with an analysis of the literature on logistics, with emphasis on the supply subsystem and develops a procedure consisting of three stages and 10 actions, supported by the application of methods for the establishment of inventory policies and AHP for the selection of suppliers. The results of the study corroborate improvements in efficiency indicators evaluated in the logistics system, evidenced by the positive behaviour of indicators such as inventory turnover and supplier integration, as a consequence of the implementation of the new proposed policies.
