MENDOZA-VEGA, Aracely Jacqueline; RUIZ-ANDALUZ, Rubén Darío; JARAMILLO-JIMBO, Juan Gabriel  e  ISEA-ARGUELLES, Josía Jeseff. Use of artificial intelligence platforms in academic writing. Noesis [online]. 2025, vol.7, n.14, pp.331-349.  Epub 15-Nov-2025. ISSN 2739-0365.  https://doi.org/10.35381/noesisin.v7i14.362.

The purpose of this study was to analyse the impact of the use of artificial intelligence platforms in the production of academic texts by university students. The research was developed under a qualitative, phenomenological approach, using the in-depth interview technique and content analysis of bibliographic sources. The instruments used were semi-structured questionnaires applied to five university students and record cards, where the emerging categories were synthesized. The results showed improvements in learning, which was demonstrated in the coherence of the writings; however, it was evidenced that these tools could foster technological dependence if they are not applied in a critical manner. In this sense, it was concluded that artificial intelligence has represented a significant support in academic writing, if its use is complemented by the student's own reflection and criteria.
