VALIENTE-SALDANA, Yoni Mateo; GALVEZ-MONCADA, Oscar Esteban; TERRONES-TORIBIO, Nadia Consuelo  e  COSME-URBINA, Manuel Edward. Digital transformation as a catalyst for business change. Noesis [online]. 2025, vol.7, n.14, pp.513-532.  Epub 15-Nov-2025. ISSN 2739-0365.  https://doi.org/10.35381/noesisin.v7i14.409.

The aim of this article is to analyse digital transformation as a catalyst for business change. This was done through quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional descriptive research with correlational support. A structured survey of 30 items was applied to a sample of 120 participants, using a Likert scale with a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.90. The data were analysed using SPSS version 28, applying Spearman's correlation coefficient due to the non-normal distribution of the variables. The results revealed a highly significant positive correlation (Rho=0.897, p<0.01) between digital evolution and business change. The most correlated dimensions were process transformation (Rho=0.892), human capital management (Rho=0.876) and organisational adaptability (Rho=0.845). It is concluded that digital evolution is a determining factor in driving comprehensive organisational transformations in today's business environment.
