Abstract

The study analyzes the removal of persons with disabilities from public administration positions in Santo Domingo de los Colorados. Under the research line of administrative justice and protection of rights, a legal analysis was conducted of the administrative acts that affected the right to employment. A qualitative-quantitative approach was used, combining documentary and field research, and applying analytical-synthetic and legal hermeneutic methods. The documentary review considered national regulations and international information, while 50 persons with disabilities and five lawyers specializing in constitutional and administrative law were interviewed using a semi-structured guide. The discussion and conclusions offer a diagnosis of the violation of rights and propose recommendations to prevent the elimination of positions.
