The business world increasingly demands changes and technological innovation to generate competitive advantages, including business intelligence tools. This research consists of a bibliographic review of the main contributions to business intelligence in financial analysis to evaluate the use of BI tools in finance and their impact on business decision-making. The applied research, based on its focus, was mixed, with a predominance of qualitative research. Based on its purpose, it is applied research, and based on its scope, it is descriptive. The results show that the use of business intelligence tools facilitates data exploitation, classification, interpretation, and analysis more efficiently, leading to sound decision-making. Hence, the need for accounting and finance professionals to increasingly understand these tools and their real-time use.
