Abstract

Information technologies have transformed the organizational environment, boosting competitiveness, operational efficiency, and the design of management reports for decision-making. In the field of accounting, their incorporation is essential for optimizing financial processes, reducing errors, and streamlining daily records. The objective of this research is to explain how information technologies influence accounting systems to strengthen business management. To this end, a bibliometric search was conducted in high-impact journals, focusing the analysis on the relationship between technology and accounting systems. The results highlighted the importance of integrating information systems to improve fiscal planning, project returns, and support strategic decisions. It is concluded that the adoption of technologies contributes to strengthening organizational culture, business control, and resource management efficiency, adding value to business sustainability.
