Abstract
CHILUISA-RIOS, Carmen Amelia; CHACON-GOMEZ, Nayibe Eloina and CASTRO-SANCHEZ, Fernando de Jesús. Removal of the reading from the Organic Law on Digital and Audiovisual Transformation in Ecuador. Noesis [online]. 2025, vol.7, n.esp1, pp.1823-1839. Epub Nov 30, 2025. ISSN 2739-0365. https://doi.org/10.35381/noesisin.v7i1.536.
The elimination of the reading of notarial documents, according to the Organic Law on Digital and Audiovisual Transformation, violates citizens' right to receive accurate information about notarial acts. The amendment to the Notarial Law jeopardizes people's right to be informed and to make decisions based on reliable and timely information. The aim is to strengthen the performance of notaries and property registrars, guaranteeing effective and secure services in sales contracts. The objective was to carry out a critical and reflective analysis of the rights that are violated in Article 69 of the Organic Law for Digital and Audiovisual Transformation. The research was dogmatic and sociological-legal, correlational, and projective in nature. Analytical-synthetic and documentary methods were used, with in-depth interviews. The results show that the law compromises access to information and quality notarial services, which are constitutionally protected rights.
