Abstract

GUAMAN-DURAN, Victor Jesús  and  ROMERO-FERNANDEZ, Ariel José. Supply chain management model for the El Salinerito candy factory. Noesis [online]. 2025, vol.7, n.esp2, pp.1041-1055.  Epub Dec 31, 2025. ISSN 2739-0365.  https://doi.org/10.35381/noesisin.v7i2.633.

In the context of business management, it is essential to have optimal inventory levels to ensure the expected efficiency and effectiveness. The objective of this article is to design a supply chain management model for the Confites El Salinerito factory. This is based on a quantitative analysis of historical demand records and the characteristics of each SKU, which mitigates the effects of internal and external variables. The implementation of the model is aimed at generating tangible results, such as accurate inventory control, reduced logistics costs, and increased service levels. Strategically, the model seeks to eliminate bottlenecks by improving processes and redistributing the time that staff devote to inventory management, all with a focus on continuous improvement that strengthens the company's competitiveness.
