Abstract
POAQUIZA-CHANAGUANO, Martha Lucia and ROMERO-FERNANDEZ, Ariel José. Design of the logistics process for product distribution for the company Tallarines “Valeria,” Ambato, Ecuador. Noesis [online]. 2025, vol.7, n.esp2, pp.1115-1133. Epub Dec 31, 2025. ISSN 2739-0365. https://doi.org/10.35381/noesisin.v7i2.638.
In today's world of free competition and open markets, it is essential for every organization to implement strategic logistics to ensure the continuity and improvement of its marketing and production systems. The objective of this research is to design a logistics process for product distribution for the Tallarines “Valeria” company in the city of Ambato. Semi-structured interviews and observation were used, concluding that the company only operates with artisanal and empirical procedures, without prior studies in logistics, which shows a lack of adequate management. This limitation affects the organization, planning, execution, and control of processes. In response, a detailed logistics process is proposed to minimize shortcomings, product returns, and losses. Proper management of logistics provides benefits such as organization of activities, inventory control, and compliance with established shipping and delivery times.
