Following the 2020 pandemic, Ecuador reformed its notarial laws, allocating resources to the Judicial Council to develop a Secure Notarial Electronic Platform. While it is being implemented, a temporary protocol was issued regulating the use of public platforms to provide telematic notarial services. Given the insufficient regulation, this research analyzes its impact on the legal security of users, using a qualitative methodology focused on the legislation applicable to these acts. It examines the use of platforms and data in terms of compliance with legal requirements, the protection of personal information, and the notary's responsibility to guarantee the required formalities. The study offers a descriptive-analytical approach that allows for an evaluation of the current regulatory scope and its effectiveness in the administration of telematic notarial services, proposing improvements that strengthen legal certainty and transparency in the digital notarial practice in Ecuador.
