ALIAGA ARIAS, Jefferson Jesus; ATACHAO VILCHEZ, Cesar Augusto  y  ARMADA PACHECO, José Manuel. Similarities and Congruences of Programming Languages in Mobile Application Development. e-Rev. Multidiscip. Saber [online]. 2024, vol.2, e-RMS01122024.  Epub 13-Dic-2024. ISSN 2960-2467.  https://doi.org/10.61286/e-rms.v2i.106.

The need to understand the similarities and congruences between programming languages and practice in mobile application development to facilitate decision-making in software development led us to review the literature to understand these divergences. A qualitative analysis of the themes and common categories present in each cluster was carried out, identifying main themes, keywords, and common categories. Subsequently, the thematic relationship between the clusters was evaluated, considering how the concepts of one cluster could influence those of another. Finally, levels of similarity and congruence (low, medium, high) were assigned based on this evaluation. The results show that agile methodologies and trends in programming languages have a high congruence, highlighting their importance in software development. The mobile application development industry also shows a strong relationship with trends in programming languages and interface reuse. Additionally, the comparison between Java and Kotlin highlights the advantages of Kotlin in terms of productivity. In conclusion, the integration of agile methodologies, attention to trends in programming languages, and consideration of aspects such as privacy and security are fundamental for successful mobile application development. These elements improve software efficiency and quality, ensuring that applications are relevant and secure for users in a constantly changing technological environment.

Palabras clave : agile methodologies; mobile application development; programming languages; similarity and congruence; privacy and security.
