With the aim of delving deeper into the relationship between strategic planning and business competitiveness, a study was conducted at the Plaza Seiko shopping center. This analysis focused on examining how the implementation of well-defined strategies impacts the competitive performance of employees. To achieve this, a hypothetico-deductive methodology was employed with a quantitative and non-experimental cross-sectional and descriptive approach. The census sample consisted of 25 employees from the provinces of Tarma and La Merced, and data were collected using a questionnaire and survey technique. Statistical analyses were performed using the Spearman Rho test using SPSS software. The results showed a strong positive correlation between strategic planning and business competitiveness, with a Rho coefficient of 0.839 and a p-value less than 0.000. These findings allowed for the rejection of the null hypothesis and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis, confirming that adequate strategic planning significantly improves the competitiveness of employees.This study highlights the importance of implementing well-defined strategies in the business environment, which not only optimizes employee performance but also strengthens the competitive position of the shopping center in the market. The research provides a valuable framework for future strategic actions aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness in dynamic commercial environments. Additionally, it aligns with previous studies that have demonstrated the positive influence of strategic planning on business competitiveness, as observed in other companies and sectors. Therefore, it is crucial for companies to prioritize strategic planning to improve their competitiveness and achieve success in the market.
