Abstract
RODRIGUEZ-SANTOS, Antonia Paula. Administrative management and quality of service of a public health center in Huaura. e-Rev. Multidiscip. Saber [online]. 2025, vol.3, e-RMS01012025. Epub June 25, 2025. ISSN 2960-2467. https://doi.org/10.61286/e-rms.v3i.135.
Administrative management is fundamental for the quality of health services, directly impacting user satisfaction. This study explored the interdependence between administrative management and service quality in a public health center in Huaura, Peru, through a mixed descriptive-correlational design and non-experimental approach. With a sample of 100 administrative workers, data was collected through structured surveys. The analysis revealed that administrative management significantly influences the quality of service perceived by users. Deficiencies in planning, organization, direction and control were correlated with lower user satisfaction. The lack of effective leadership and the need to improve control systems were particularly evident. The implementation of management indicators and the adoption of advanced technologies are identified as key strategies to improve efficiency and quality of service. Administrative management is a determining factor in the quality of health services. Optimizing planning, organization, direction and control is essential to improve user satisfaction. It is recommended to strengthen staff training, adopt integrated technologies and strengthen empathy and response capacity. Future research should evaluate the longitudinal impact of the implemented strategies, including variables such as organizational climate.
