The relationship between technological innovation and business competitiveness is crucial for the survival and growth of microenterprises in Huancayo during 2024. Using a quantitative approach, surveys were administered to 70 microenterprises, and the data were analyzed with Spearman's correlation coefficient and Student's t-test, as the variables did not show a normal distribution. The results indicated a positive, moderate-high, and statistically significant correlation (ρ=0.633, p<0.001) between technological innovation and business competitiveness. Specifically, technology adoption (ρ=0.423) and technological capabilities (ρ=0.619) showed significant positive correlations with competitiveness. Interestingly, resistance to change also exhibited a positive correlation (ρ=0.575), interpreted as an indicator that greater resistance is associated with lower competitiveness. These findings suggest that investment in and development of technological innovation, the strengthening of capabilities, and the effective management of resistance to change are crucial for the performance and resilience of microenterprises in dynamic markets. The study provides empirical evidence validating the importance of technological innovation as a driver of growth and survival in the local microenterprise sector, offering implications for public policies and business strategies.
