This scientific study aimed to determine the effectiveness of an emotional intelligence program on the resilience of women victims of domestic violence at the Sechura health center, in line with the fifth Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), which seeks to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. It is applied in nature, with a quantitative approach, and belongs to a quasi-experimental design with pretest and posttest, working with a population of 48 women victims of domestic violence. The data were collected through the Wagnild and Young resilience scale instrument, whose reliability is high (0.89), and processed through Excel and SPSS v29. In relation to the data, the nonparametric Wilcoxon signed rank test for related samples was used. Finally, it was shown that the emotional intelligence program has significant effectiveness in the resilience of women victims of domestic violence, finding a value of 4.261 > 1.96, and is significant by p-value 0.001 < 0.05, which indicates that there is a significant influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable.
