Abstract

SANCHEZ REINOSO, Miguel Ángel  and  VELASQUEZ FLORES, Cristina Alexandra. Pedagogical integration of point-of-sale animations with Wix in the area of marketing and sales in technical high school. e-Rev. Multidiscip. Saber [online]. 2025, vol.3, e-RMS11032025.  Epub Oct 25, 2025. ISSN 2960-2467.  https://doi.org/10.61286/e-rms.v3i.162.

The integration of digital technologies in the classroom has transformed teaching, offering new ways of learning and creating. In this context, the pedagogical integration of Wix, a website creation platform, is proposed in teaching point-of-sale animation for third-year high school students, aiming to enhance understanding and skills in this area. The objective of this study is to categorize the essential components required in designing an effective digital environment for teaching point-of-sale animation in third-year high school. The methodology used was a quantitative approach with a sample of 30 third-year high school students. Pedagogical activities were implemented in which students created web pages using Wix, designing animations applied to point-of-sale displays. Data was collected through surveys and interviews to assess the effectiveness of this tool in learning. The results showed that 80% of the students felt Wix facilitated their understanding of animation and design techniques, while 70% highlighted creativity and interactivity as the most beneficial aspects. However, some students faced initial difficulties with the platform. Based on these findings, it is proposed to continue implementing Wix in the curriculum, providing more prior training on digital tools and offering a space for support during the creative process. This will optimize results and ensure the success of pedagogical integration.
