This research analyzes the entrepreneurial skills of students from five study programs at a Peruvian public university, with the purpose of identifying strengths and weaknesses in their professional profiles. The study adopted a quantitative approach with a descriptive and exploratory level. For data collection, a structured questionnaire of 70 dichotomous items was applied to a sample of 110 students from the programs of Administration, Economics, Accounting, Education (Social Sciences), and Environmental Engineering. The findings reveal a medium-high level of entrepreneurial competencies, with an overall average of 68.00. Among the main strengths, the dimensions of ethics and sustainability (79.00) and knowledge and learning (71.00) stand out; however, critical weaknesses were identified in leadership (66.00) and risk management (60.00). Comparative analysis shows that Administration and Economics possess more solid profiles and higher motivation, while Accounting and Education evidence a lower entrepreneurial disposition and difficulties in assuming risks. It is concluded that, although university students possess a favorable formative base, it is imperative to reinforce practical and strategic competencies. To this end, the implementation of active and interdisciplinary methodologies such as gamification, simulations, and collaborative projects is recommended. This study provides relevant empirical evidence for the formulation of curricular strategies that promote innovation and sustainability, aligning university education with the demands of the Peruvian labor market and national development goals.
