Abstract
ZAMBRANO CUZME, Lucía Stefania; CEDENO ZAMBRANO, Claudia Antonella and PALACIOS ZURITA, Wladimir Alexander. Socioeconomic impact of COVID-19: a post-pandemic analysis. e-Rev. Multidiscip. Saber [online]. 2025, vol.3, e-RMS12122025. Epub Mar 17, 2026. ISSN 2960-2467. https://doi.org/10.61286/e-rms.v3i.327.
This study comprehensively analyzes the social and economic impact of the post-Covid-19 pandemic on the Association of Producers and Women of the Barranca de Boyacá (ASOPROMUABA), with the fundamental purpose of revealing the current state of well-being and quality of life of its members. Using a mixed-methods approach that synergistically integrates quantitative and qualitative tools, the research was based on the rigorous application of structured surveys to the 14 active members dedicated to agricultural work in the region, allowing for the collection of relevant and accurate data. For in-depth analysis and prioritization of the issues, analytical techniques such as the Pareto chart, the Conesa Fernández Matrix, and the 5W+2H Matrix were employed, which facilitated the identification of critical causes and the evaluation of socio-environmental impacts. The main findings show that members are experiencing significant difficulties in vital areas such as economic conditions, food security, the work environment, and subjective well-being, the latter reflecting a post-crisis impact on emotional health. It is concluded that the revitalization of the association depends on a systemic and coordinated intervention; therefore, it is imperative that the organization, public institutions, and various allied actors coordinate strategic improvement actions aimed at mitigating the identified vulnerabilities. Only through collaborative management can productive resilience, the recovery of the social fabric, and the long-term sustainability of rural families in Boyacá be guaranteed.
