The objective of this paper is to analyze managerial leadership for the promotion of teacher engagement. The literature review was conducted on 19 scientific articles published in journals indexed in Scopus, WOS, Scielo, PubMed, Latindex 2.0. It is important to promote managerial leadership for the promotion of teacher engagement; because the relationships between teachers and students and the teachers' manners can significantly influence student participation, since, through interactions with teachers, students find emotional and attitudinal stability and obtain satisfactory emotional support from their teachers.
