This article examined the implementation and effects of the flipped classroom model in educational settings, focusing on how this pedagogical strategy improves student engagement, and the development of critical competencies inherent in its adoption. Through a descriptive quantitative methodology, the perceptions of 53 teachers from different educational levels were collected and analyzed, using structured surveys distributed via Google Forms. The results highlighted significant institutional support for the flipped classroom, with a positive perception of the impact on student participation and autonomous learning. However, challenges were identified, such as the need for the preparation of teaching materials and student motivation. This study contributes to the knowledge about the flipped classroom, offering perspectives for its optimization and highlighting its potential as a valuable educational tool in the digital age.
