CORNEJO ZAGA, Celmira; BAZANTE GARCIA, Rafael José; VASQUEZ RAMOS, Segundo Pio  and  TARQUI ARAPA, Miguel Ángel. Analysis of Disability Public Policies in Latin America. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.1, e501040.  Epub Dec 05, 2024. ISSN 2739-0063.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.11176973.

The purpose of the article is to analyze public policies and legal frameworks in Latin America in relation to the inclusion and non-discrimination of people with disabilities. Qualitative research was carried out with a documentary approach. The need to guarantee equal opportunities in all aspects of life is highlighted, not only in the educational field. There is a significant disparity in access and quality of services and opportunities for people with disabilities. In addition, the importance of greater awareness and training in society in general to promote inclusion and combat discrimination is highlighted. This analysis scrutinizes existing laws and regulations and identifies persistent challenges in effectively implementing inclusive and anti-discriminatory policies.

Keywords : equal opportunities; special education; non-discrimination.
