Abstract
IMAICELA VEGA, Ruth Emperatriz et al. Formative feedback strategies to enhance school performance. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.1, e501084. Epub Dec 11, 2024. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.12549650.
This article reviews the literature on formative feedback strategies and their impact on school performance. Empirical studies from the last five years, focused on primary and secondary education, were analyzed using databases such as Scielo, Dialnet and Google Scholar. The results show that immediate and specific feedback helps students correct mistakes and better understand concepts, while constructive feedback encourages reflection and autonomous learning. The integration of technologies in feedback facilitates more detailed and accessible delivery, motivating students. However, implementation faces challenges such as resistance to change by some teachers and lack of institutional support. It is crucial to provide ongoing training and appropriate resources to educators and to foster a supportive culture in educational institutions. The need for future research on the long-term impact of formative feedback and its integration with other innovative pedagogical strategies is evident.
